Hometown is a personal project I thought about creating whilst working away as a travel photographer. I’ve been lucky enough to take my camera to some 60 countries around the world and realised in doing so, that I had not actually photographed my favourite city, my hometown, Bristol!
It’s such a unique and special place to have been born and raised. A city that’s so big but still has that sense of community. I wanted to photograph the places I love in the city and show them in the dream like way in which I had remembered them whilst travelling the world.
All the images in the series compliment each other to work well hung together in a set of two or three. For a 20% discount code for orders of two items or more, please contact me here.
Finishes are available as gallery grade prints using Hahnemühle Photo Rag paper as well as, two ready to hang mounting options: acrylic or solid oak frame.
Hahnemühle’s authentic art paper is regarded as the very top of the line for quality. It is often used for exhibitions and limited-edition art prints.
The acrylic finish is modern and sleek with punchy and bold colour reproduction. The photo sits behind 2mm of glossy acrylic glass that enhances the image whilst offering long lasting protection. The final acrylic product is lighter than a traditional frame and comes with aluminium rails attached, making it easy to hang.
The classic oak framing option is printed on the same high quality Hahnemühle Photo Rag. It comes with a 5cm natural white passe-partout card mount and glossy float glass to make your new artwork standout.
The oak frame itself measures 2cm so combined with the mount for each side, please add on a total of 14cm to the length and width to get the outer dimensions. e.g the outer dimensions for a 40x30cm print selected measures to a total 54x44cm when framed.
Black and white oak frames are available as standard but different frame colours are available on request. Please contact me here if you have any further questions.
